I'm afraid I don't "get" Twitter so have never used it! But I see what you mean about the buddy list thing and I recall something about doing more with buddy lists being PM'd to me too a while ago
I could expand it by keeping buddies as one idea, maybe to just highlight people you chat to regularly being online, and subscriptions/followers as another. So if you like someone's posts, you subscribe to their profile and maybe on the main page you get the latest pics from the people you're following. Or something like that? Then on your profile it would say how many people have subscribed to you. Altho might just be easier scrapping buddies in favour of subscribing to people...
Well, it's certainly possible...just down to how much time I have :-( Nothing substantial can happen until June/July when I have a couple of weeks free to mess with the site. Don't suppose there's any php coders out here?
@Golfluvver - how'd ya mean? Like kind of how the View Album bit is at the mo, but with a Next/Prev link at the top of the page instead of in the album bit? Actually I might be better maybe shoving the other pics from the user album under the main image instead of the side col? Would that achieve what you mean?
All good suggestions tho - keep them coming and I'll see what I can sort out. Sometimes I'll sneakily add something in if I get a bit of time spare
